Cost Format

This format was developed by Department of Education & Early Development for use on all capital improvement projects that are utilizing state funds through a grant or the debt reimbursement program. The estimating standard organizes construction work elements utilizing Uniformat with adjustments taking into consideration the Construction Specification Institute (CSI) Masterformat 2004 Edition.

The cost format was developed in consultation with HMS, Inc. and is available in a downloadable MS Excel workbook. The workbook contains a breakdown of the estimate structure, and an estimate summary worksheet. The estimate summary is to accompany all construction estimate submittals to the department.
